SSE have approved a new 400KV, 210 foot high pylon line, heading east from the Beauly substation, along the A862, to Inverness and beyond.
This monster line will defile our beautiful countryside for a generation. We must fight it united, resolute that alternatives must be found.
This is shown on p103 of the NOA document by National Grid where its status has changed to “Proceed”. https://www.nationalgrideso.com/document/185881/download.
